The issue has been isolated to the Teraco Isando environment.
Initial investigations indicate that a fiber link between JB3 and JB1 has been damaged while Teraco contractors were carrying out infrastructure work for a new client.

The DFA technicians need to urgently relocate the DFA route K01P07 Cable 1 (72F) between DFA hand holes KH020266, KH020347, KH020439 and KH020350 to avoid damage by road construction. The road is being widened, and the DFA infrastructure will be severely damaged if the change is not completed in time.

DFA core link NFA31-0000521 still testing down and issue has been escalated to core team for further investigation.

Tech tested Core link:NFA31-0000521 (between Pinetown and Teraco_Riverhorse) from site: TERACO and received full distance with 1.2dB fiber loss at 9.039km and 1dB loss at 17.125km.
